Salish Mushrooms is a place to engage with mushrooms and connect with a community of mushroom enthusiasts.
Jeremy began his exploration of the Pacific Northwest forests in 2006. His passion for mushrooms began on an October walk in Washington’s Central Cascades where he was moved by the abrupt transformation autumn rains brought to the forest. Over time he incorporated mushrooms into his other passions including teaching, photography, data analytics & visualization, community-building, and events.
Today Jeremy’s mushroom projects include:
- Guided tours
- Beginning Identification Classes
- Cultivation workshops
- Maintaining a Culture Library
- Mushroom Gardens
- Data Visualization
- Identification guides

We acknowledge that our company operates on the ancestral and unceded territories of the Coast Salish peoples, specifically the Duwamish Tribe, the first inhabitants of Seattle, and the surrounding areas. We recognize the continuing connection of the Coast Salish people to this land, its waterways, and its resources. We respect their enduring presence and vital contributions, and we commit ourselves to learn from their wisdom, honor their rights, and build a relationship based on mutual respect and understanding. As we strive towards a more inclusive and equitable future, we are reminded of the responsibilities we have as inhabitants of these lands and the legacy we are part of.
