Bird’s Nest

Bird’s nest fungi are small fibrous mushrooms that are often found growing on sticks. They are easily identified by a small, cup-like fruitbody that may have small ‘eggs’ at the bottom of the well. Most bird’s nests are in the genus Nidula.
