Veined Mushrooms

This diverse group gets its name from the distinctive veiny ridges that can be found on the underside of the cap and extending downward along the stem. Unlike typical gilled mushrooms which have thin, flat, sheet-like gills, these mushrooms boast smooth and rounded ridges.
