This quick-start course will familiarize participants with key mushrooms of the Pacific Northwest and will build skills for finding and identifying them.
We Cover:
Basics of mushroom biology
Basic mushroom identification
Key Pacific Northwest edible mushrooms
Finding mushroom spots
Seasonality of important mushroom species
Interactions between trees, plants, and mushrooms
6 Meetings (9 hours)
