Intro to PNW Mushrooms

This is a 4-week, Tuesday evening course focused on preparing students for the fall mushroom season in the Pacific Northwest

This is hosted through the North Seattle College Continuing Ed program

Starts August 3rd
Tuesday Nights 7-9p

We cover:
Key edible mushrooms for beginners
The basics of mushroom identification
How to find good foraging areas depending on your target mushroom
Using mapping tools like the Forayz app (Gaia, onX, etc)
Basic mycology: how mushrooms work, major groups, role in the environment
