A brief overview of iNaturalist

One can learn a lot about mushrooms and all other forms of life in a particular area through some simple searching using iNaturalist. I use it to upload my mushroom observations and at this point I have logged over 2000 in just the PNW.

You might also consider downloading the mobile app which can be really helpful for logging your observations. For mushrooms, it is really important to get a few really clear photographs that include the top and underside of the cap, the stem, and sometimes the general habitat where the mushroom was found.
