Toothed Jelly Fungus
The toothed jelly fungus pseudohydnum gelatinosum is a common decomposing mushroom found growing on old stumps and logs in pacific northwest forests. Its most notable feature is an underside covered in tiny spines similar to the hedgehog mushrooms. As. a decomposer it aid the process of nutrient cycling in the forest.
Edibility: Like eating gummy water. Some have cooked in simple syrup to make them sweet.
